2012 Foals Have Arrived

We are excited about the Seven babies we have so far with two more to come. Sires this year include Edward, Quidam Blue, Escudo II, Earl, Rascalino, and Sarkozy. For more info and images, click here.

Congratulations to Quidam Blue

Quidam Blue had a very successful 2011 competition season, jumping 1.20m at Spruce Meadows. We're expecting our first foal by Quidam Blue this year, so we're also thrilled that his offspring collected several medals at breed shows! Watch for our Quidam Blue foal out of Pistachio in 2012.

Thelma and Louise Attend the AHS Breed Orientation Seminar

November 2011. We attended the American Hanoverian Society's Breed Orientation Seminar in Massachusetts, a memorable, 5-day learning experience presented primarily by Dr. Ludwig Christmann of Germany. We must have been pretty memorable too: "The indomitable Canadian participants, Dr. Heather-Lynn Smith and Debra Symes," were mentioned in an article about the Seminar in the Sporthorse Stallion Directory!
